I got this on the day I arrived in ... Busan! Here for a month and already used the bus. It's a different world now. Just scan on and off with your T-money card and all the times and destinations are at most bus stops. I'm on day two and only went the wrong way once. Will be wary of the aunties though ... actually women of the same age as me.
In Paraguay, you must NEVER hand anything to someone with your left hand. Fortunately, you can't complete the offence, because nobody will accept anything from your left hand.

I'm looking forward to returning soon! Maybe give an iris to an auntie and get a date??

good to know!!
OMG, I didn't know all of this about you!!! How long were you in SK? So funny, cuz at 29 I went to teach in Japan. Another way we are sisters.
Love the writing in this piece. But I don't quite understand why the women were so upset with you and why they'd physically manhandle you.
To this day I don't know. I think it was because I wished death on their bus driver... or a love affair!
