So from now on, my newsletters on Substack are open-access without paywalls.
This doesn’t mean you can’t still subscribe, Buy Me a Coffee, or purchase a book or tutorial. Now, though, you have complete access.

Yet to honor my current paid subscribers who do have access behind my paywall, I will leave the paywall on previous newsletters. I think it's lovely Chris! I'm on the same page - all content is free, for all subscribers. Paid upgrades help fund my work and my mission to keep telling tall tales of adventure from the high seas. I turned on paid subscriptions last week, so far only friends have upgraded, the real test will be if strangers think my work is valuable enough to pay for. I'm not expecting it to become my main income stream 🤣
